Getting here

Notting Hill

Pembridge Gardens is located in the heart of Notting Hill Gate, just a few minutes away from the tube station.

Getting to Pembridge Hall

From Heathrow airport. The airport is linked to London by the Underground on the Piccadilly line. Taking the Underground train to Notting Hill Gate station is the cheapest, and possibly simplest, means of transport from the airport. Click here for the map of the Underground to help you plan your journey. Alternatively, you can travel to Paddington train station via the Heathrow-Paddington Express Rail Link which runs every 15 minutes during the day, and the journey takes approximately 15–20 minutes. There are also buses from the airport to central London.

From Gatwick airport. A regular and frequent over ground train service runs from Gatwick to Victoria station in London, taking approximately 30–35 minutes. From Victoria you can catch an Underground train to Notting Hill Gate station. Click here for the map of the Underground to help you plan your journey. Alternatively, Flight line coaches depart hourly during the day from Gatwick to Victoria coach station, taking approximately 70–75 minutes.

By road. You can reach the hall by car from Pembridge Road, around Pembridge Square and into Pembridge Gardens. Please note that parking is extremely limited.

By Underground/rail. Paddington is the nearest railway station. A taxi fare from the station will cost around £6.00. If you are travelling by Underground, Pembridge hall is about 100 metres from Notting Hill Gate Underground station (Central, Circle and one branch of the District line).

Cars. You are strongly advised not to bring a car to college, as parking at both Imperial College and Notting Hill Gate is by parking permit only, which is extremely difficult to obtain. Pay and Display parking spaces are available but prices are high.
