Welcome to Xenia

Xenia is an Imperial College Hall of Residence situated in Waterloo, at the heart of London. It is just two minutes away from Waterloo station, with excellent transport links to the rest of London and the country. We are less than 10 minutes from South Bank and it's attractions and across the river we are in close walking distance to Covent Garden, Trafalgar square and the West end. The journey to South Kensington Campus is approximately 25 minutes door to door, White City is approximately 45 minutes, and Charring Cross Campus is about 35 minutes. With all these attractions close by, you will be living in one of Imperial's best halls.

Xenia recently underwent extensive refurbishment that we hope will provide an environment where students can both achieve academically and enjoy the benefits of living in the heart of London. There will be organised events, regular trips to eat out or see shows and films, etc. The success of these events depends on you! Residents can organise and participate in Hall activities, with support from the Wardening team and Xenia staff. We have regular committee meetings where you can give your suggestions for events to hold or ways to enhance your experience in Xenia.

We cater for the full diversity of Imperial’s student population including all disciplines and subject areas so finding friends with common interests will be no problem. Xenia is an excellent base to take advantage of all that Central London has to offer!

Full details about the hall can be found on this website and in the residents’ handbook (you will receive a printed copy on moving-in day).
