You need to talk to the Student Accommodation Office in South Kensington, Princes Gardens in the first instance: the Wardening Team and Xenia staff are responsible for pastoral care of existing residents and have little influence on who lives at Xenia when and in which room. You can visit their website or write them an email.
No parking is available at Xenia. Therefore, we encourage you to use public transport. If you plan to bring a car, nearby parking is available at a fee (for example: UPark).
No, you cannot. Therefore no electric devices other than stereos, TVs, desklamps, phonechargers and computers are allowed in rooms (no high current drawing appliances). If in doubt, please ask first. Ricecookers and coffee machines are allowed in the kitchens.
Toilet paper is provided in the communal bathrooms. As they communal bathrooms there is no need for bath mats. You will however need to provide your own personal towels.
Yes, there will however be a limited amount on sale during the first few weeks but these are sold on a first come first serve basis so it might be easier to purchase before you arrive.
Heating temperatures are controlled centrally. There are radiators in every room which can be turned on or off manually.
There is no sports hall at Xenia unfortunately. The games room can also be used for music practice but you would have to be mindful of other students.
Yes mail will be accepted prior to you all coming but please make sure you put your name and room number on it. We will store it for you.
All rooms have a single bed, mattress, desk, wardrobe, lamp, mirror and an wired internet connection provided by ASK4. Those that are en-suite have a small pod-like bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. There are twin rooms also and each student has their own desk and wardrobe space. Shared bathrooms are located at various places along each floor for your use. These too contain pod’s housing showers and toilets.
Yes there is an iron and ironing board in the halls. Only one though but I don’t remember anyone fighting to get it last year.
Yes but it only goes up to the 3rd floor. 4th floor people will have to walk the last one!
No download limit and 30 Mb/s standard/free. Upgrades of up to 100 Mb/s (£430/year) are possible with other options including 70 Mb/s (£150/year).

There is storage at Waterloo station for bikes. Bikes can’t be stored in Xenia.
