Seniors are students who have already lived in Imperial halls, chosen by the wardening team to carry out various roles to fuel the hall’s social scene. Our senior team is 8 strong, and collectively we organise many events, form sports teams, form the hall committee, produce newsletters, put on film nights, provide brunches and butteries, keep this website updated, and much more. Having already experienced the fresher’s life also makes us great problem solvers – you can knock on our doors for anything and we’ll be more than happy to help.
Ryan Duce (LG56)
Hey I’m Ryan. I’m a fourth year, studying MSci Physics with Theory. I like going out every weekend, whether it’s about in London or on windsurfing or scuba diving trips. I also enjoy salsa dancing and indie / punk / pretty much any music. You can find me in LG56 and I’m the senior for the lower ground floor. If you can hear music then I’m probably in so just knock extra loud!
Pallavi Hrisheekesh (G43)
Hi I’m Pallavi and I’m a second year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student. I like books, music and climbing. I’m always up for a chat (and I’m known to provide hot chocolate too) so feel free to knock on my door any time! I lived in this hall last year and had a great freshers year so I’ll know exactly how to make sure you have a great year here too!
Anastasia Giannari (148)
Hello everyone! Congratulations for getting into Imperial and welcome to Gabor Hall! My name is Natasha and I am a 3rd year Biomedical Engineering student. Hope you enjoy your first year in the most amazing university in London as much as I did! When not studying for my degree I enjoy playing tennis and piano as well as reading books and watching movies. I also love cooking (not meaning I am good at it :p) so you will definitely spot me in the kitchen. Don’t hesitate to talk to me whenever you feel like chatting! One piece of advice, do join a society! It’s a great opportunity to meet new people while doing what you enjoy the most. I like joining new societies every year and this year I might give dancing and table tennis a try, so feel free to join me for a trial during Freshers’ fair and who knows? You might end up with a new hobby! I look forward to meeting you all! See you in October!
Andrew Pearcy (241)
Hi I’m Andrew, a second year in Joint Maths and Computing (JMC). I’m from South East England, near Gatwick airport if any of you know the Sussex area. Imperial was my first experience of living in a city and you very quickly adjust, if you have any questions feel free to ask me. I’m involved with the Canoe Club at Imperial and try and go away kayaking on the weekends to spend some time out of the city. Other than that I enjoy almost anything in the great outdoors, having been involved in Scouts from a young age. When I’m not off gallivanting around the countryside I’m usually relaxing and having a few drinks, either at the union or a local pub.
Amin Karamlou (345)
Hi, I’m Amin and I’m a third year computing student. This is my second year as a senior in Gabor and hopefully it will be just as fun and crazy as the first. I’m originally from Iran but was born in London, so if you need to find your way around the city I’m your guy! In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, volleyball, squash and reading. I’m really friendly and always up for a chat so if you need anything just knock on my door. Even if it’s to find the closest food place at 4 A.M. (Imperial doesn’t leave much time for sleep). Looking forward to meeting you all (Except for my assassin, hopefully I can avoid you the whole year.)
Henry Cuttell (445)
Hi I’m Henry and I’m a fourth year Computing student. This is my second year as a hall senior, having spent the past year living in the Evelyn Gardens halls. I love travelling to different countries, cycling, and skiing (the Imperial ski trips are awesome!). I’m looking forward to meeting you all soon!
