Subwarden positions are available in Beit Hall.
Beit Hall is the largest hall on the
South Kensington campus
providing accommodation for 339, mainly first year, undergraduate students at Imperial.
Subwardens at Beit Hall have the responsibility of
organising the programme of social events that contribute to life within hall,
providing pastoral care support to the residents,
and (occasionally) enforcing discipline,
ensuring that Beit Hall is a fun, happy, and safe hall for all its residents.
More details about subwarden positions can be found here.
The position will involve significant commitment of time, energy and responsibility during evenings and weekends. No payment is available, but rent-free accommodation is provided within the Hall. The post would best match a postgraduate student with at least two (preferably three) full years remaining, but all candidates with more than 12 months full-time student registration remaining are eligible. The position is to start for the 2018/19 academic year (September/October), with potential for the successful candidate to move in from mid August.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 5th June 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of their invitations late evening Saturday 2nd June 2018.
